Shadow Of The Void 2025

​​​​​​​This artwork talks about Palestinian children who are cancer patients. I met volunteers who help these children while they receive treatment in Israeli hospitals, and they told me many painful stories. Some patients cannot pass the barrier to reach treatment and they die. If a child can receive treatment, the child stays alone in the hospital without the company of a parent, isolated and unable to connect with others. “Unbearable pain prevents the rays of sunlight from entering our lives, leads to a feeling of emptiness, and affects our lives.” In this work, I used polymer clay, glass, and sunlight.
